You shouldn't judge the book by the cover but... ouch, that hurt my eyes. I don't see any "previously unpublished photographs" in the example pages, do you?

if anything it's a sign of lazy writing. you'd think bowie owed his entire career to that one performance. can't help but view this and the "When Ziggy Played Guitar" book as shameless cash-ins. and can't help thinking i'll end up buying them both...
