I own the collector edition and hope to get hold of as deluxe one day Agreed, I actually got a review copy of the collector's edition (still had signatures but not numbered) for a review I wrote for "Goldmine" magazine. The text from Bowie is insightful and the array of papers used and the layout made every page you turn a nice surprise. I had hoped from something similar with "Speed of Life." Nope.

My better half bought me "2" NME magazines with Bowie on the front celebrating ziggy's 40th. She didn't realise it was just 2 different covers.(Rip off 1). On reading the article it is obviously just another plug for SOL.(Rip off 2). I feel cheated.

flogging a dead horse admittedly, but i just picked up the Rolling Stones "50" book. top, top stuff and puts the sukita book into perspective for me. superior layout and with "lesser" images printed smaller. current price on amazon uk? £17.67. even the pricier japanese version works out to £36, just 10% of the cost of SOL...

I dont know if the paperback MD has the same content as the Genesis editions. I am allways scared to open the book(s) by them in case they get damaged so it would be good to know if the paperback edition is the same content so that i can peruse it without terror.
