there's several skips all over the vinyl. :(
I asked for people that bought it and everybody keeps it sealed

Hi all, been collecting Bowie on and off over the last 10 years. Picked no 250 up off ebay last week. Of the 3 vinyls, the first 2 are blue marbled and the 3rd record is purple. Are everyones the same? Thought all 3 would be blue marbled...

I've got 3 different colours (all marbled): LP1 - blue, LP2 - purple LP3 - pink(ish)

This was the second show of the tour and one of the few that had Louise Lecavalier physically present (I believe she also performed at the Quebec City tour openner and in Toronto). IIRC, she was also supposed to have performed in NY & LA but that did not transpire.

pretty well done release, worth the £100 i paid, sturdy box

Montreal is a nice Soundboard, nicely mastered, i doubt whether its FM or TV due to the slightly unbalanced mix- Adrian Belew is almost inaudible on Fashion
and sadly this makes "Stay" sound weak compared to the monster version from Milton Keynes
maybe an IEM monitor feed?

blimey! check out the bass resonance when the kettle drums hit at the end of Life on Mars!

now, mr bootlegger please do the Same for Montreal 83 AND 87!

Louise L. interview in sundays times culture section a few weeks back about this tour, sorry i didn't save it

i remember she said that he was a nice guy but experiencing a rock tour showed her that this wasn't what she wanted to do, but i didn't realise she actually bailed out midway

my disc one is purple and 2 & 3 are blue

anyway drums are upfront and very powerful a nice change from "stairway to paris" where the drums almost vanish during Golden Years

the Chile show has sync problems between sound & vision (no pun intended!)
during Rebel Rebel but its fixed for ashes to ashes
not a complaint, just an observation in case anyone is comparing sources

Daves Video camera stunt reminds me of the PiL Anarchy movie '85 live laserdisc

is sound and vision the tour with the most FM/TV broadcasts?

Young americans has sync issues too, but Suffragette is fine

can anyone tell me anything about Bowies Freaky one string baritone guitar? (Fame)

i've got similar one built by Yuri Landman who builds for Placebo and sonic youth
normal scale guitar body with one bass string , it looks the same gauge as bowies. Mine is tuned to B like the thickest string on a baritone Gtr or the second fret on the A string of a bass

i can play some quite convincing who-ish bass lines without the back trouble a normal size bass would cause me (i have arthritis)
