A new release in the same series as the Seattle 76 vinyl bootleg. This is a 6LP set on red marbled vinyl, in a red box with red inserts. Limited to 100 copies. It is a 'retro' release, meant to look like the bootlegs of the 70s. The labels are plain white and there's a silver sticker on the shrinkwrap. A shame the choice of material is a bit odd, as you can see it contains material that has nothing to do with Bowie ( Penny Lane/ A Little Bit Me), some outtakes that have nothing to do with BBC sessions ( Right On Mother) and the 'BBC session' from 21-09-72 that are actually studio recordings. Unless the mistakes are part of the 'retro' aesthetic I don't understand why they didn't research this better. I haven't compared all the tracks in detail - but there's nothing really interesting on here anyway. Attachment:

To be honest I haven't listened to the vinyl, but considering the mistakes made it can't be any better than the versions we all have on cd (and very probably worse!).

Thanks Maarten
I couldn't find that link!Ill pass on this one.Cant see the value in this kind of release. But if people are happy to pay $400 a piece that's a nice profit for the bootlegger.I will source this one DAVID BOWIE -HEROES IN MONTREAL 1990 as it has some usable value. Cheers Stump

It's definitely not worth $400! And yes, that Heroes in Montreal boxset is a much more worthwhile release.

most of disc one seems to be cloned from "god knows i'm good"
pity about the price and some curious ommissions from the 72 sessions,
good idea to do a definitive session release though
if i win the lottery or lose my mind, i promise to get one and describe the sources. these fake TMQ releases are patchy, they mostly release the audience tapes other labels consider too rough but they did just put out an Uncirculating Clash Soundboard from 1981.

It seems this one now is also available with a green cover: From Popsike. I'm not sure if these are on green vinyl, but I would expect so...
