I may as well add that on the back insert of the new release of 'Buddha of Suburbia' track 4 is listed as 'The Mysterie'.

That's what I thought at first, but if you really look, you can tell the 's' isn't there.

Mispressing. The Lifetimes issue of "Drive-in Saturday" (BOW 501) pressed with Galaxy featuring Phil Fearon "Dancing Tight" (ENY 501) on the a-side.

Er... the mispressed Drive-In Saturday plays Body Talk by Imagination does it not?
Not a mispress but certainly an error - Mike Garson is credited as playing piano on the live version of 'Life On Mars?' from Boston 1.10.72 that appears on the EMI reissue of Aladdin Sane. It's Mick Ronson.
In other news... the first US pressing of Aladdin Sane featured an additional line of lyric for Cracked Actor on the inner sleeve.

RAPC, what was that line? I remember the extra lines in the Underground lyric that was printed in a Dutch magazine. I suppose these must have come from an official source as well.

Hi Ruud. I don't recall offhand and I'm away from home at present. I'll check and get back.
Incidentally, having just read your entry for Underground I wonder if you're aware that a studio out-take clip of the song made it onto vinyl - it can be heard on one of the Rock Over London US transcription discs.

Not really a mispressing as such, but the version of the Day-In Day-Out video EP I have plays the three Bowie tracks and then switches to play a Spanish cartoon of Gullivers Travels.
Oh, and I've just had a look at my Loving The Alien shaped picture disc, and its also browned up quite a bit, but luckily not quite so much. If you look at it, the non-discoloured side only has a thin layer of plastic over the label. The other side has much thicker plastic over the label

Original post by Dogwater which inadvertently was split off to another topic, sorry!
Though I'd have a bash at taking a pic of that mis-pressed Lifetimes 7" to see if the camera would pick up the matrix number. The results were better than I'd expected! You can make out "ENY 501" pretty well, I think. The image will be re-sized here but you can right-click and 'Save as' to get the large version. Google that catalogue number, if you like.

Yes, luckily I have a proper one as well. My Buddha Of Suburbia that plays Pop Show '93 (Disc 1) is even worse:

There is also the first pressing of the Low counterfeit picture disc that plays Man-machine by Kraftwerk - at least that is musically tolerable
