Does anyone know or have heard of another studio recording of Sorrow??
I know there is the pinups recording but there is also another slightly different version. Its not mentioned in the discography.

According ANY DAY NOW book I can't explain have another version that was recorded along John i'm only dancing in 1972, but Sorrow i never heard nothing about it.

The studio version on Absolutely rare is identical to the Pinups version except it doesn't fade out.

It's subtle but quite audible: the acoustic guitars are a lot more muted on the original single, whereas on the album - released afterwards, I think? - the acoustic guitars are a lot louder in comparison.
