ABC info below, no indication it will be archived but i'd be surprised if it wasn't.

Robert Forster, frontman of The Go-Betweens and eminent Australian music critic, explains why his first radio show for Double J is all about Bowie.

What The Beatles were to The Sixties, Bowie was to The Seventies. Ever-changing, prolific, and able to make adventurous, art-filled albums while having hit singles. He was also a hovering, commanding presence over bands and avid listeners, like The Beatles were in their own decade.

Bowie's career in The Seventies also overlaps in a wobbly way with my own life – I was twelve in 1970 at school, and twenty-two in 1979 in The Go-Betweens. I grew through these years with each Bowie album purchased on, or near, release date.

So when it came to programming my first show on Double J as 'Artist in Residence', the artist I turned to - in what was his peak decade for songs and haircuts - was David Bowie.

Robert Forster's show on David Bowie airs 3pm Sunday May 4, and he'll host Artist In Residence throughout the month. Listen online, on your digital radio or TV.

As far as I know it's just a stream. I listened to about 10 minutes before my browser gave up (2005 Mac) - the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) is increasing the technical requirements of computers that can watch (TV-"iview") or listen. :( As it's not necessary.

But to your query. From the little I heard it's just studio tracks, as per the website, and at least one was faded out way before the finish (She Shook...). The interest in the program is about gaining insight into the tastes of the guest musician presenter and his view of Bowie's music.

I think the full text is contained on the following link:
