anybody buying that deserves it.

it's pretty simple when you cut through the smokescreens laid down by dishonest sellers. if you see an actual sleeve (with spine etc) then it's a fake. if you see a US slick then there are things to look for that can't easily be duplicated. if you see the 12 x 24 folded card flat used with a few UK promos then snap it up, very few survive.

except that the EMI isn't from 1976, is worth about $20 and can hardly be considered a collectible.

i read a lot of things about those covers but I never had the chance to see a real one as in these photos . Maybe i seen a "real english cover" in London but i was to young to buy it. It was very expensive. these are only memories.

My Slick arrived today.The packaging was incredible but more importantly the item is, i am sure genuine.
I have studied JL's Blog in detail and further comments posted here and all the boxes tick.
Any further telltale info would be appreciated for all concerned.
The condition is excellent++ and i have a big grin on my face.
