Just released is a 3LP, 2CD, 1DVD boxset called Heroes in Montreal, limited to 300 copies. - The 3LP's are on blue marbled vinyl and contain the Montreal 06-03-90 concert. They have picture labels. - The 2CD's contain the same Montreal 06-03-90 concert. - The DVD contains three shows from the Sound + Vision tour: Lisbon 14-09-90, Rio de Janeiro 20-09-90, Santiago 27-09-90 The CD's and DVD are in plastic envelopes attached to the inside of the lid of the box, so they're not in separate covers. There is also a 12" gatefold insert included. I haven't received my copy yet, so can't say anything yet about sound/image quality. The package looks quite attractive I think! Pictures below are not of my copy, so I've blurred the number, just in case some takes offense .

It's my copy & it's number 201.
No offense taken!
Wasn't sure how new this was but didn't want to abuse this forum by promoting my ebay listing - just PM'ed Matt in case the DVD footage was of interest.

Cool, I didn't realize that was your listing! One thing I'm curious about - do the LP's come in a cover, or are they in inner sleeves with a separate gatefold insert?
I heard in February this was forthcoming in a few weeks/months, so it must be pretty new.

Very nice looking set and the inclusion of the 3 Pro Shot / TV Broadcasts on DVD is very attractive. Would be interesting to see what the quality of the footage is like. Very ncie set indeed.

I'm also waiting for my copy. What I like is that after all these years without any vinyl bootlegs we're almost getting "deluxe editions" nowadays... (I recently bought the "Space Oddities" 10" - nothing exciting, but I like that one, too).

I received this today and must say I was actually pleasantly surprised!
The Montreal show is very good quality, and I would be very surprised if it wasn't a soundboard recording. Even though this isn't one of my favorite tours the performance is actually very good and Bowie seems very into it. Furthermore this was one of the first few shows on the tour, and Bowie does some songs that were rarely performed later on (John I'm Only Dancing, Rock n Roll Suicide etc).
The three shows on the DVD are the same quality as available through torrent and on Youtube - which means quite good, and 100% watchable. Nice menu too!
The box is very sturdy, the glossy folded 12"x12" insert is nice and the cd and lp labels are perfectly fine. The only gripe I have is that the plastic cd wallets on the inside of the lid are very flimsy, so split easily.
All in all a very nice bootleg, and better than I expected!

I got it two days ago. Have not opened it yet. Maarten the sticker with the number - is it on the box or on the plastic?
As Maarten said it is a really good concert, and I liked the sound and vision tour. I have happy memories of the concerts I saw.

On all the one's I've seen (around 10 copies), the stickers are all on the box itself.

Bought my copy number 141 today in a recordstore for a reasonable price compared to the ones on Ebay. Like Maarten this tour is not one of my favourites too but with a sound like on these discs it always a pleasure to hear Bowie perform. The soundboard recording on silver disc and lp together with the dvd makes this box a must have.

I've also received my copy (#244) recently. And I agree with all of you: it's a nice show and very good sound quality. The DVD is also good and the entire box is beautiful.
BUT:
I actually play the vinyl records I get. And I had to realise that the records have several short skips (especially on "Station to Station"). I can make them play through by playing around with the pickup weight and antiskating settings of my turntable, so it's not a major problem (especially since you get show on CD, too). But is this only a problem of my copy or a general problem of the pressing?

Couldn't resist! Had to buy it from ebay. I've got no. 53. Not cheap but not very expensive either. It's a great bootleg release! P.S. Just noticed: a new track on LP3/Side A! Young America! D.S.
