The interesting thing about the Sorrow single from Uruguay was that it was coupled with the Man Who Sold The World as opposed to Amsterdam. That combination was released in one other South American country... which one? Venezuela?

That may explain why thay assumed Tony was the producer of the A side then since he was associated with TMWSTW.

Rhodesia (RCA 42-487). Effectively this is a one-sided single. Note that Amsterdam is listed as Port Of Amsterdam, like on the South African edition. From the eBay description:

From here, another copy of the Rhodesian pressing of Sorrow:

Interestingly enough this does have the 'NOT AVAILABLE IN RHODESIA' printed on the label b-side, but this copy doesn't seem to have an empty groove. If this does play Amsterdam, what is the use of the overprinting?

Chas P tells me that there indeed was a Canadian release of "Sorrow" (omitted in Jarman) and that he has a copy. I invited Chas to make a post here to that effect about a month ago, but as he hasn't, I'm taking the liberty.

@ John: the other S American country coupling Sorrow with TMWSTW is Argentina.
