Does anyone have a high quality version of the proper cover art for Young Americans? There are so many various version floating around online and it is hard to tell what the original design was meant to look like (blown out red, desaturated with bright blue eyes, tilted head, or straight on). I am trying to get together digital versions of the proper album art as the official re-releases cannot always be trusted, and unfortunately my CDs are currently far away in storage... Thanks for any help.

This is a scan of the 2007 Japanese "replica" paper sleeve CD. I can't guarantee the colours, but it is generally considered to be an accurate copy of the original UK LP.

beckenham, thank you so much! I really appreciate your help. Is this your scan or did you find it online? I find it sad that there are no good places online to find high quality Bowie images (unless I am looking in the wrong place). Thank you again.

My pleasure. It's my own scan, just one that I happened to have on my hard drive. I'm not aware of anywhere on-line that has a comprehensive collection of hi-res Bowie artwork, probably because there are so many variations and the bandwidth required to share it would cost too much. Not forgetting the copyright issues
