Yeh, easily available. Some folks even sell just the lenticular sleeve itself.

Copies of the lenticular sleeve were also sent out as promotional material. These copies have a sticker on the back saying the new album 'hours...' 4th October 1999. So if you see someone selling lenticular sleeve itself, it might be one of those copies.

Thanks very much for the info, I came across one the other day for £2.99 and just wondered, I'm happy to have it all the same.
I often wonder just how many initial copies (1,000 ?) of changesonebowie with the sax John I'm.... version leeked out, over the years, from release to the present day, I've owned three copies of this album and each one had the sax version.

I've always been curious about that figure for Changesone as well. I remember seeing the number first mentioned in one of the British music papers -- possibly in the Fair Deal section of Sounds -- not long after the album's release.
Copies with the sax version always seemed remarkably easy to find, which suggests to me a much higher figure than the oft-quoted 1000. If someone confirmed it as being closer to 10,000 (or even 100,000), I wouldn't argue.

The idbD mentions that Initial copies came with a lenticular inlay - does anyone happen know approx how many?
Only when you allow for the millions of Bowie fans around the world. Not sure why they ended up with a number like that instead of just going for 500,000.

I think we have to make a difference between those who want just the music and those hardcore collectors like us. I guess that everybody who wanted one of those 450.000 copys has one.
