Hi can anyone tell me if booklet is different from 99 EMI releases? (apart from rebadgeing and new remaster credits). If different could you please share details.

Yes they are different. I mistakenly got a 2015 remastered jewel case copy of 'Pin Ups' with my Five Years box set instead of the Pin Ups Radio Show disc. The tray has a picture from the booklet included in the box and the booklet, which is only about 8 pages (at least 'Pin Ups' is), has track info and whatever inserts included with the original album looked like. I sent back my copy of 'Pin Ups' so I can't recall what else was in the booklet. So yes, in answer to your question, they are different.

While browsing my local record shop I noticed that the Hunky Dory Parlophone 2015 Remaster jewel case CD has the original artwork restored with the black frame around the front picture.

Even better, the back of the jewel case CD now shows the full size picture with David's comments again. Not the silly black background with a thumbnail picture anymore.

The tray inlay also had a nice photo as well.
The CD shows the orange 'Bowie' letters mimicking the old RCA logo style.

The 8 page booklet has the lyrics in the original white / brownish style.

This was around 10 euro and worth every cent of it.

I wonder if the other 2015 remasters jewel case are similar made - and hence worth buying as well ? But I could not see any obvious difference at least on the front covers. the back covers are showing the original artwork- not the thumbnail on black background.
