I just read on the Steve Hoffman forum that there is a 12" picture disc of this released on Record Store Day for Black Friday in the US. 12" Bowie, David Jean Genie 12" picture disc 5099997903178 10.99 2,000 units

Just Google on 5099997903178 - you only see mention of a 7" single...

Possibly, but a lot of water has passed under the bridge since that was written. EMI's recorded music division was sold to Universal Music on 9th November and rumour has it that Simon Fuller is negotiating to buy Parlophone, Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and and David Bowie.

Not forgetting that we still don't know if Bowie has a current EMI contract that can be sold.
