teenagewildlife says these singles were first released in April 1982, re-released in July 1982 and re-released again in the UK in November 1982. Can anyone confirm this or know if there are any visual differences between the releases?

but they also say, "For reasons known only to MCA, this was released about 3 separate times. Firstly with Cat People on the A side, then again two months later with Paul's Theme on the A side, then finally in November 1982 with Cat People back on the A side." news to me... never seen a configuration like that. it's possible one of the dates refers to the promo picture disc from the April '82 screening.
The configuration may have changed over the months. The single in the discography incorrectly credits 'Paul's Theme' to Bowie and I've now found a scan of the B-side label without the credit.
If anyone reading this has another variation and can't upload photos, please mention it here.

I think this was an error in one of the Bowie books (Thompson's Moonage Daydream?) that has been copied.
If this really were true someone would have come up with scans. I've never seen any proof.
This is probably just a misleading listing, but a vinyl collector may want to pursue it. A German website claiming to have a "rare, hard to get" MCAT 770 Paul's Theme b/w Cat People.
