Anyway, I quite like and its more laid back style is closer to the Iggy original. Funny thing though, in listening to the original to see what's taken out I began to appreciate some of the good parts. After years of avoiding, like the rest of the Album.

So maybe the project works on more than one level bringing a new better sound while making you revisit and perhaps love parts of the original. Not just polishing a Turd then!

Like every cut we've heard so far from NLMD 2018, this is definitely an interesting listen, but (my) jury's out on whether it's good, really. In the case of "Bang Bang", we're not talking about one of Iggy's best to begin with, but at least on that measure DB treated it better than "Don't Look Down".

This YouTube video has the 2018 version of "Bang Bang" in mono - I look forward to hearing more detail in stereo.
