The lyric insert matches the inner bag of the first issue (see above). Notable changes are the switch to a single gloss sleeve, the repositioning of Bowie's name from top right to top left, with the RCA logo positioned top right on the front and back. Also, the red and royal blue of the original have been replaced with magenta and cyan.

Single sleeve early orange (pre-chrysalis) label re-press with cyan blue and no reference to "Shorewood packaging" at the bottom of the back cover. The inner sleeve has been replaced with a single flimsy paper lyric insert.
Re-issue in the RCA International series with a label variation.

RCA released Aladdin Sane as a picture disc as one in a set of five albums in a limited edition series ('BOPIC'). The certificate has a stamped number. The single sleeve is die cut to display the picture disc.

There was a worldwide vinyl shortage in 1972 and 1973 and RCA UK imported US and Canadian pressed albums to cover the shortfall in local production. This is the edition manufactured in Canada for the UK. Distributed in a matt UK sleeve with more subdued colours than the standard, and with magenta and cyan in place of the original darker red and blue.
