Just a thought Because of late i have been following a Angolan released laughing gnome on ebay that in the end went for over £500, it was sold from Portugal ! so are they actually Angolan releases? I found myself asking why didn't Portugal release starman , this is a bit of a surprise omission in what was to be a very continuous release line of Bowies work, especially and if i'm right in saying they still printed a cover but only for the Angola disc ? This coupled with the fact they supplied the same cover as there own for the Angolan laughing gnome ? So could it be that the discs were in fact imported to Portugal for there market and not a Angolan releases at all? further to my thoughts i had a look on popsike to see if any other Angolan bowie releases had sold on ebay and i found 2 of each and all were sold from Portugal. If anyone knows if i'm right with my thoughts or if i have got it totally wrong please let me know. As i now think they should be classed as Portuguese releases with a imported discs from Angola in Portuguese sleeves.

Angola was a Portuguese republic (read wikipedia... ) As far as known (wouldn't it be great if another one shows up? P) there are only two releases Starman and Laughing Gnome I only have the Laughing Gnome in my collection On the back of the sleeve it reads "Fabricado Em Portugal Por Valentim De Carvalho Ci Sarl Label reads fabricado Angola
