Have just had my bids cancelled on this as the seller refuses to ship to Japan (he's in Japan). I have a registered UK address and bid using it, but I assume something alerted him to my current location. Anyhow, he's not contactable via eBay so there goes my chance of getting this. I'm always suspicious of sellers who won't ship within their own country, as i can see no reason or benefit to doing so.
My question is whether anyone here has dealt with this seller (santamail) before and whether they were happy with what they received. And if anyone here is bidding on this and is successful whether they'd mind reporting back on grading etc.
i'm now off to spend the $250 he doesn't want on something else.

I searched my mail archive and saw I bought something off him as well (a Japanese Let's Dance LP) in 2007 - received without any issues.
I can think of no reason why he wouldn't want to send to Japan... weird.

he's not the only seller here to do this. i assumed (wrongly it would appear) that they were selling below par records hoping that the hassle of returning them would deter overseas buyers from doing so. i've been selling on ebay the past few days to get the funds together for a decent offer on this single (and one of his LPs), but it's a relief in some way, no last minute disappointment when it ends tomorrow
