According to the amazon.de-download the song runs 1:50 minutes. A bit disapointing, I think.
More than a bit disappointing! Is it really less than 2 minutes long? That's such a shame - it's a lovely remix, surely more could have been made of it.
Incidentally does anyone else think that some of the vocals are new? I've only played that youtube link only a couple of times but there are certainly some lines that really don't sound like they came from the original recording.

It sounds to me like alternate vocals were used in some parts of the song.
Is the audio on this CD-R an exact copy of what's availble on iTunes (compressed audio)?
As this seems to be the only physical format of Sound and Vision 2013, I am tempted to buy my first Promo CD-R. But the ebay seller who had already sold many of this, has quite a few negative comments for selling fakes. I never started to buy CD-Rs as most of them seem to be fakes.
Including songs / artwork / edits that are otherwise unavailable would at least increase the likelihood of a CD-R being offical. All the TND related 'Promo' CD-Rs were using artwork that was already available on the internet at the time of their 'release'. The 1-track "Valentine's Day" so-called promo even lists a B-side, hence it's a 1:1 copy of the official 7" artwork.

This is a difficult question to answer because the 2013 version only has a dynamic range value of 8 and I suspect it’s distorting the frequency analysis. My CDR rip does contain more detail though, just!
Somebody who understands these things more than I do may have more thoughts on this.

The original version on the CDR is as expected for uncompressed audio.

I only buy CDR promos if they appear before the official release or contain unreleased music. Even a genuine promo will fall in value when it’s copied or shared online though, and I don’t think I’ll ever get my money back on my purchases.

Thanks a lot for the detailed testing.
To me it looks like there is not a real difference between download and the version on the CD-R. Also, just saw how many times the CD-R has been sold and re-listed. This would indicate to me the seller has 'inifinte' quantities of this CD-R.
Such a shame there is no official physical release.
