As you will have noticed, the forum regularly throws "Service Unavailable" errors. This is directly correlated to the concurrent number of forum visitors that are "browsing" the site. Unfortunately these aren't real users, but rogue AI bots scraping the site.

I have managed to fend them off on a site I'm working on professionally (https://xeno-canto.org), but unfortunately my hosting service does not seem to provide a similar service.

Until then, you will unfortunately have a slow site that throws errors every now and then.

I know this is mot a site for chat but...
