I've done a check of my own versions of all the tracks.
Track 1 on the single is indeed a unique Lenny Kravtiz edit. The edit seems to be composed of a combination of Track 1 and Track 10 on the album. It features the strange guitar warble intro and softer rhythm playing from Track 1 but grafts the Kravtiz solo onto the outro rather than the original.
Track 10 and The Rock Mix are the same featuring heavier distorted rhythm playing throughout, omitting the guitar warble at the beginning and with the Kravtiz solo at the end.
And again the Main Theme version is the same as Track 1 on the album, minus what i consider the beginning of Sex And The Church. On the 2007 release, it is moved to the beginning of Sex And The Church making the two now identical.
Many thanks Scott, your detailed response is very much appreciated.

Wow. So, is the final decision that there are 4 versions of the song?
1. Album Track #1 (also available as "Main Theme" on the promo single)
2. Album Track #10 (featuring Lenny Kravitz) (also available as "Rock Mix" on the single)
3. Single Track #1 (featuring Lenny Kravitz) (being a unique combination edit of album Tracks #1 & #10)
4. Censored promo CD-R edit of Track #1
Plus the confusing matter of Track #1 of the album having the closing snippet of the beginning of Track #2 only on the original pressings of the album, and not appearing on the 2007 reissue or on any of the promo or commercial single versions.
